Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

The Centre for Economic Security (“CES”, “we”, “us”, “our”) takes the privacy of visitors to this website seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

The Centre for Economic Security is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Contact: info@ces-global.net.

What we collect

We collect personal information only when you actively provide it — most commonly when you:

  • Endorse the Bush House Agreement (name, organisation, email, sector, optional comment)
  • Contact us by email at any of the addresses listed on the site
  • Enquire about membership
  • Register interest in the Future of Security convening cycle

We do not collect analytics or profiling data beyond aggregate visit counts. We do not sell, rent or trade your information.

How we use it

Personal information you provide is used only for the purpose you provided it — to record your endorsement of the Agreement, respond to your enquiry, or maintain your CES membership. We may email you to confirm receipt, to verify your endorsement, or to invite you to reconfirm at the final version of the Agreement published September 2026.

Legal basis

Our legal basis for processing your personal information is consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) — you provide it directly to us for a specific purpose. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing info@ces-global.net.

Sharing

We do not share your personal information with third parties except:

  • Where you have explicitly opted in for your name and organisation to be displayed publicly on the Bush House Agreement endorsement wall
  • Where legally required (e.g. lawful request from a regulatory or law enforcement authority)

Our website is hosted by GoDaddy. Form submissions are handled by WPForms and delivered by email. These processors act on our instructions under UK GDPR-compliant contracts.

Retention

We hold personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected. Endorsements are retained until the Bush House Agreement final version is published in September 2026 and thereafter for record only. Contact enquiries are retained for up to 24 months. Membership information is retained for the duration of membership plus 6 years for accounting purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information (right to erasure)
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk)

To exercise any of these rights, email info@ces-global.net.
